AC Milan vice-presidentAdriano Galliani says they couldn't compete withBarcelona for former Arsenalmidfielder Cesc Fabregas.
Cesc completed his move to Barca yesterday, with Galliani admitting Milan had made enquiries after theWorld Cup winner during the summer.
"He had a very high cost, but this is a problem in general for Italian clubs," said Galliani.
