Spanish coaching legend Javier Clemente has scoffed at claims from Barcelona that they 'made'Lionel Messi.
Barca have long insisted Messi was a product of their La Masia system.
But Clemente snapped: "Messi is player from outside. They signed the best child in all of Argentina. They did not create the player. Messi was Messi and they polished."
