Manchester City ace David Silva has dismissed comparisons with Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
Silva, 26, is searching for honours instead of hero worship.
He told the Daily Star: “No, I don’t aim to be better than Messi.
“I aim to win more trophies with my team and to improve myself – not to be the equal of Messi.
“But I have changed a lot. When I came here I wasn’t physically 100 per cent but I feel a lot better now.
“It’s hard on you physically in England and it will be a tough game to win against Spurs. It’s difficult to say who are our bigger rivals, Spurs or United.
“They are both very close but we have to concentrate on our own game."
