Barcelona board discuss upping bid for Arsenal playmaker Cesc

Barcelona's board have discussed making an improved offer to Arsenal for Cesc Fabregas this week.
Their previous offer of €29 million plus €6 million based on the compensation they believe Arsenal owe for the signings of Hector Bellerin and Jon Miquel Toral has been rejected by the Gunners.
With the deadlock showing no signs of breaking, Barca directors discussed on the weekend the prospect of raising their initial cash offer to €34 million plus €6 million in bonuses, says El Mundo Deportivo.
The new offer has not been drawn up, but Barca know they need to find a solution to speed up negotiations.
For his part, Cesc refuses to ask for a transfer as he doesn't want to put Arsenal fans offside after eights years at the club.
