The Mirror says Barcelonaonly signed Afellay in January, but he is surplus to requirements after the arrival of Alexis Sanchez from Udinese.
Tottenham are one of several clubs interested in signing him.
They may just allow him to go in a straight-cash deal, and for more than the £3m Barca paid to get him fromPSV Eindhoven - they got him so cheap because he had just six months left on his contract.
