Manchester City are new favourites for Udinese star Alexis Sanchez as a deal withBarcelona on brink of collapse.
Barça had been expected to complete the signing of Chile international Sanchez this week for €39m, including performance-related bonuses, plus Jeffren.
However, Ona FM says negotiations hit a big stumbling block late yesterday.
It seems that forward Jeffren has refused the move to Udinese in part-exchange for El Nino Maravilla.
Unless the two clubs can decide on another player to be included in the deal, this could let Manchester Cityback into the race for Sanchez.
