Guardiola upset as Barcelona thrashed by Chivas as Real Madrid fire home 7

Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola put a brave face on their thrashing by ChivasGuadalajara last night.
After defeat to Manchester United on the weekend, Barca were thumped 4-1 by Chivas - just as Real Madrid were winning 7-1 in China.
"We are behind in some things, for many reasons, but I think my players knew they were facing a good team from a strong league which is ahead of us in terms of fitness," said Guardiola.
"We must improve in many aspects, but it's still the beginning of preseason.
"The four goals is a wake up call.
"The Supa Copa is close, as is Europe, and we must improve our minds. What makes the difference is the mentality of the players."
