El Mundo Deportivo says the two clubs are closer than ever before to sealing a deal.
It’s believed Barcelona have offered €26m plus €11m in performance-related bonuses and the proceeds from a friendly match.
Udinese’s asking price has dropped to €27m upfront along with the bonuses, so the difference is minimal.
It’s a long way off the Friulani’s original €50m price-tag, but already very close to the sum rivals Manchester City proposed.
