The Daily Mail says Fabregas will meet Wenger to plead with his manager to let him rejoin Barcelona.
Arsenal returned from their tour of Malaysia and China and Fabregas, who didn’t travel because of injury, will go to his boss in an attempt to force through his proposed £35million transfer to the European champions.
Fabregas, 24, is grateful to Wenger for turning him into one of the world’s best players and does not want to ruin their relationship by handing in a written request. Instead, he will beg Wenger to allow him to leave face to face.
The midfielder, who began his career at the Nou Camp, is hoping to appeal to Wenger’s better nature by telling him he is desperate to return home.
