Arsenal turn tables on dithering Barcelona with Cesc Champions League threat

Arsenal will not jeopardise their Champions League hopes by waiting forBarcelona to meet their price for Cesc Fabregas.
The Daily Mail says Arsenal could scupper Barcelona's summer swoop for Cesc Fabregas by playing their wantaway captain in the Champions League play-offs.
The reigning European champions are pushing to tie up a deal for the Spanish midfielder but the two clubs continue to haggle over cash.
The Gunners have set the alarm bells ringing by considering playing Fabregas in their crunch European game that would immediately leave him cup-tied in the same competition should he join Barcelona.
Arsenal find out on Friday who they will face in the two-legged play-off match to book a place in the lucrative group stages of the Champions League.
With Samir Nasri - another star who could leave the Emirates - and Robin van Persie both suspended for the first leg of the potential banana skin, boss Arsene Wenger knows he must play his strongest side to avoid heaping further pressure on himself at the start of the season.
