Thiago signed a new deal with Barca last week and insists he is unconcerned over the prospect of competing for a future midfield place with Cesc.
He told El Mundo Deportivo: "It's a luxury to have Cesc in the locker room.
"Well, it's a luxury to have any good players in the locker room. Everyone comes to add to the team. He will be welcomed with open arms
"Man, of course I would sign him. I know we can play together."
