Wenger to put Arsenal ahead of Barcelona target Cesc for Udinese clash

Arsenal boss Arsene Wengerfaces a massive dilemma over selecting Cesc Fabregas for their Champions League qualifier.
The Daily Mail says yesterday’s Champions League play-off draw pitted the Gunners against Udinese, who finished fourth in Serie A last season as one of Italy’s most improved sides.
If Wenger picks Fabregas for his first game of the season when Udinesecome to The Emirates for the first leg on Tuesday week, the midfielder would be cup-tied, further complicating a move to the Nou Camp. Leaving him out, though, could cost £25million in lost revenue should Arsenal fail to qualify.
Fabregas would rather not play against Udinese, knowing it could jeopardise his return toBarcelona, who yesterday had a second bid of £30million plus £5m in add-ons rejected.Arsenal want £40m.
Wenger has a degree of sympathy and conceded last week that Fabregas, 24, was ‘torn between two loves’. But he is prepared to play him, given the quality of the opposition.
