Barcelona winger Pedro Rodriguez admits the Supa Copa takes on a new meaning with Real Madrid being the opponents.
Pedro admits Barca are taking the season curtain raiser seriously.
"It is true that recently we played very well against them, but it's an El Clasico, the game that anything can happen. The dynamics may change, so you have to raise your level," said Pedro.
"What we want is to win the Supa Copa," he said. "It is a major challenge. We face Madrid, with a title at stake. They'll be two games of high stress, very nice and competitive. It will be a great test for the level of the team."
