Barcelona attacker Alexis Sanchez has returned to full training as he nears a return to first-team action.

The Chile international has been out since suffering a hamstring injury in the 2-2 draw with Real Sociedad on September 10.

Barcelona's official website confirmed the 22-year-old took part in training with the rest of the squad following Tuesday night's 1-0 win over Granada in La Liga.

There was further good news for Barca coach Pep Guardiola as Gerard Pique and Carles Puyol could be called back to the squad for Saturday's clash against Mallorca.

Puyol has not played since last week's Champions League encounter against Viktoria Plzen, while Pique has been out since the 3-0 win over Racing Santander on October 15.

However, Pedro is likely to be out for at least two weeks after suffering an ankle injury against Granada.
