Daniel Alves is behind Barcelona gaining the advantage on Real Madrid in the battle for Santos star Neymar.
Santos president Luis Alvaro Ribero has already declared Neymar is now closer to Barca than Real.
And Alves has had a big influence on the turnaround as he's become closer to Neymar through the Brazil national squad. They share the same hotel room, eat together and socialise while on tour.
Indeed, before Barca's Super Copa clash with Real last month, Neymar tweeted: "Good luck, brother ..."
