Malaga midfielder Santi Cazorla insists there's no tension between Spain'sReal Madrid and Barcelonaplayers.
Cazorla, who joined Malaga this summer from Villarreal, insists all rivalries are put aside when the world and European champions get together under the national team banner.
"The side is not endangered," he insisted ahead of Friday's friendly in the Swiss city of St Gallen.
"There has always been a great atmosphere and it remains. There's been too much fuss, for nothing.
"It's forgotten, it's passed.
"There's no bad atmosphere, we've always had a great atmosphere and it's still great."
Cazorla spoke in praise of Iker Casillas, after the Spain and Madrid captain made sure relations were not strained by personally getting in touch with Barca counterpart Carles Puyol and his club deputy, Xavi.
"It is clear that if Iker decided to talk to them, it's because they have good relationships. What happens on the pitch should not continue off it and it's normal, what happened, because they are games played with much intensity. There is so much tension that this sort of thing can happen."
