Swansea City fullback Angel Rangel says there's great similarities between manager Brendan Rodgers andWigan Athletic's Roberto Martinez.
Martinez signed Rangel for Swans while they were in League One.
The Spanish defender told Absolute Radio: "Both very different managers. On the one hand I would say they’re equal, they have similar philosophies in terms of passing style, with a combination of players in the wings, so that’s similar.
"I think the difference is probably that Brendan has put something different in the team, the offensive and defensive transitions and we’re trying to copy Barcelona, but you can’t really compare. It’s good I think, the pressure from the front to the back, which makes us stronger on and off the ball. The quality of the signings as well. He’s brought in so many quality players which have made a difference for us, even in Championship and now in the Premier League."
